Postcodes: You must enter a full postcode.
Dates: You must enter dates in the format dd/mm/yyyy (e.g. 23/01/1980).
Numbers: You must enter numbers without formatting, i.e. do not use commas or pound signs.
Too many characters: You are asked to fill in a field with a maximum number of characters (i.e. letters, including spaces, not words) and you exceed that amount. (Use a word processor to count the number of characters, then cut and paste the text into the field below).
Make a backup: For larger entries, you should save a copy using a word processor before filling out the form, as you may lose everyhing if there is a problem.
