Supporting People
Welcome to the Neath Port Talbot Supporting People website.
Supporting People is a government programme aimed at providing
good quality housing related support tailored to meet the needs of
vulnerable people enabling them to live more independently in the
community.
The Supporting People Vision:
To significantly enhance the quality of life of vulnerable
adults through enabling the provision of effective housing support
services based on evidenced need.
The Supporting People Mission Statement:
We will enable the provision of housing support services for
vulnerable people who have a housing need by effective planning,
monitoring and commissioning of services. We will do so in
consultation and in partnership with stakeholders and service users
and be responsive to individual need as identified through
evidence-based assessment. We will aim to raise the profile of
Supporting People in all our activities.
