A £3million scheme to ‘spruce up the streets’ of Neath Port
Talbot’s urban areas is now well underway.
It will tackle the general condition of roads and pavements
together with a range of maintenance issues including signs, worn
road markings, loose or poorly re-instated inspection chamber
covers, graffiti and dropped kerbs.
Gnoll Drive in Neath has already been 'spruced up' with
the road being resurfaced, kerbline being raised, the verge
has been partly removed and installation of concrete
bollards to stop vehicles from driving over the verge.
