ChildrenNurturing an atmosphere for lifelong learning is one of the aims of the community plan. School performance in Neath Port Talbot is improving year on year and results are exceeding targets both locally and nationally. Estyn inspectors have described the Council’s education service as the best in Wales.

    The launch of a new Information Portal in January 2005 means that key Library Services in Neath Port Talbot are now available 24 hours a day seven days a week.
  • Margam ParkMargam Park
    In January 2004 a working party of teachers from Neath Port Talbot Schools volunteered to create new modules for use as self guided units for visits to Margam Country Park.
