The Year will feature some of the most popular bestselling authors in the country. Authors such as Catrin Collier, Bernard Knight, Lionel Fanthorpe, Jasper Fforde, Michael Jecks, Mavis Nicholson and Andrew Taylor will all be visiting libraries in the coming months. Look out for a Meet the Author event at your library.

At the Margam Festival on July 13th there will be a featured day for readers which will include a major event around the Dylan Thomas Prize and will include a range of well known authors.

There will be a libraries tent again this year at the Pontardawe Festival, August 15th – 17th and this will include some fantastic storytelling, performance poetry and much, much more.
