What can I borrow from the library?
Members of the library can borrow up to 14 items at a time.
Books
You can borrow up to 8 books for three weeks at a time. You
don’t have to pay to borrow books, but don’t forget to bring them
back by the due date, as a small charge is made for every day that
they are late. To see our charges, please visit our Services and Charges page.
DVDs
Some of our libraries have DVD collections. If your local
library does not have a DVD collection, you can still borrow DVDs
as you can reserve an item and request that you pick it up at the
library of your choice.
You can borrow up to 2 DVDs at one time.
DVDs cost £1.50 to borrow for one week.
Junior DVDs cost 75p to borrow for one week.
Music
Neath, Pontardawe and Port
Talbot libraries have music CDs that you can borrow. They have
classical, pop, country & western and jazz collections.
You can borrow up to 3 CDs at one time.
Music items cost 60p per item for three weeks.
Talking books
Most libraries have collections of talking books on tape or
CDs.
You can borrow up to 2 talking books for up to 3 weeks. You have
to pay 50 pence for each talking book borrowed. If you are
registered as being visually impaired, you do not have to pay to
borrow them.
