The Princess Royal Stage / Auditorium Lighting
as of Aug 2002
The lighting system consists of 48 dimming channels 2.5k ea 32
on Tempus Strand rack & 12 via 2x act 6 dimmers controlled via
d54 from st left, rt rear of auditorium (via p.a. patch) or default
position in the control room rear of balcony.
House lights consist of fluorescent, sodium (numerous fittings
can all be switched off on 2 master switches) two large 60x60Watt
chandeliers on individual dimmers.
We have a Strand manual/memory desk with 4 pages of 48 scenes
max. + programmable fx (we still have our old lx desk, which is a
Tempus manual 32 + 12 way ext)
We have 2 Strand 2K solo follow spots (rear of balcony ea side
of control room).
We have a cyc bar of 5 sets of 4 circuits patchable with 4 x 4
Strand Coda compartment lamps as default, A mid stage bar of 6
circuits with Harmony 1K floods (12 paired across stage), A no 1
stage bar with 12 circuits as above
Two side bars in auditorium of 5 patchable circuits
A F.o.H. bar above auditorium consisting of 6 paired circuits,
balcony bar ideal for fx lighting of 4 patchable circuits, lamps
consisting of:
- 2 x Cantata 26/44,
- 10 Harmony 22,
- 20 Harmony f flood,
- 3 Harmony 15/28,

Strand 4 compartment 2 circuit 500W battens- 4 Strand 500 Watt floods,
- 4 650 Watt profiles
- 18 narrow beam Thomas 1K Parcans
- 3 x 5' UV fluorescent permanently in rig in front of bar 1 + 2
strobe light fittings permanently on F.o.H. bar.
- 4 x Mac 250 + intelligent light fittings controlled by a Zero
88 Fat Frog desk.
- Full width starcloth (fibre optic available on request)
Stage left 63A single phase r.c.d. supply for Touring sound.
Touring supply stage right (for touring lighting) of 100A 3 phase
on cee form stage right. House intercom @follows, control, stg lft,
