A magnificent steam winding engine, now electrically driven, a simulated gallery and a fascinating display of mining tools and equipment are the highlights of this museum housed in the original buildings of the former Cefn Coed Colliery.
You can also buy a real miner's lamp or other souvenirs at a well-stocked gift shop.
